REGISTRATION FORMS

Please note: It is important that you read the rules and regulations before you begin!

Make a list before starting a registration form with:

  1. The full names and numbers of the classes you wish to enter, after consulting with your teacher and the syllabus.
  2. The details of the pieces you will be performing, including the names of the composer(s) and duration of each piece.
  3. Registering a duet, duo or trio? You will need to know the names and birth dates of all the performers.
  4. Registering a small ensemble? You will need a list of the names of the participants and to have checked that they all fit into the age requirements of the class you wish to enter.
  5. Registering a large ensemble? You will need to know exactly how many performers are in the ensemble as well as their ages if there are specific requirements around age in the class description.
  6. Waivers. Solo performers complete the photo/video waiver as part of the registration form; large ensembles do not need waivers unless invited to perform in the Showcase Concert. BUT, if you are performing in a duet, duo, trio, or small ensemble, you will need to download waivers and have the performers complete them ready to upload to the registration form.
  7. Membership of MTA-NWT. MTA-NWT asks that your teacher/director, or you, or your parent/guardian be a paid up member for 2025. Not sure? Check the current membership list here. If you need to join or renew your membership follow this link.

You can refer to the above information at any stage while completing your registration by scrolling up to the top of the page. The links all open in a new tab, so you will not lose your place in the form by clicking on them.

Trouble shooting: Only fields not marked as mandatory with a red asterisk.
If you have trouble moving to the next field using the ‘tab’ key after an empty non mandatory phone or email field, just click on the next field you wish to fill using your mouse or touch screen.
If that doesn’t work, fill the box you cannot get past with zeros thus: 000 000 0000, or 00@0000.com

2. YK Music Festival DUET/DUO/TRIO Registration Form 2025
3. YK Music Festival ENSEMBLES Registration Form 2025

The dates of the Festival:
6 – 9 March: Vocal, Choral, Fiddle Classes; No registrations will be accepted after 31 January, 2025
9 – 13 April: Piano, Instrumental, Strings and Band Classes; No registrations will be accepted after 28 February, 2025

If you know you may have a conflict during these dates, be sure to complete that question on the form and the Registrar will do her best to work around it, or in some cases offer another alternative. However, we cannot guarantee that will be possible.
